This would be a wonderful place if it wasn't for the wakes. Ridiculous. I wouldn't even do it because it makes this anchorage miserable. Everyone gets as close as they can almost like they are doing it on purpose.

Stayed here for a few days after coming back from the keys in mid April. Beautiful water and the park was a great place to explore. Restaurants looked interesting but we did not go. The water is gorgeous but the speeding boats through the anchorage made it seem very dangerous. Not sure we'll be back.

Okay spot but was disappointed. Water is stunning but restaurants are overpriced and there is NO respect for boats on anchor. The wakes are the worst we have ever experienced and contant!
    Will avoid in the future.

This had good holding. There is a bar and a restaurant just a short dinghy ride away. We were here New Years Day and it was a zoo. Lots of day trippers zooming at full speed through the anchorage with no thought for other boats. My husband's remark was he has never seen so many rude/oblivious boaters in his 40 years on the water. I don't think we will be returning because of them.

Dependable spot, good holding, plenty of room. Offers good protection from NE through SE winds, can be choppy at other times. Easy dinghy ride to Bill Baggs park (and we found a water hose available behind the food truck on shore). We stayed here several times, mostly because anything closer to Miami is chaos. It's a distance to get into town for shopping, but it can be done, and it's a nice walk through the park.

We arrived after dark. The channel in from the east was very challenging. And the charts are inaccurate.
Probably fifty boats here, all very nice and quiet.
I'd return anytime. My only complaint - too many big-city lights in view. I'll have to go further south.

We tried to anchor in No Name harbor, but it was full so we anchored just outside for one night. We were in 15 feet of water with 110 feet of rode. There were at least 12 other boats. It's a nice anchorage, but as stated previously, boats speed by and give sizable wakes. We used our flopper stoppers, so that helped. It would have been nice to dinghy into the restaurant, but we chose to stay on board due to the wakes. We were treated with a free concert.
