Bridge appears to be non-operational regularly, despite on going efforts for repairs.
Would recommend calling ahead to ensure bride is functional before approach.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Water is stunning but restaurants are overpriced and there is NO respect for boats on anchor. The wakes are the worst we have ever experienced and contant!
Will avoid in the future.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Great wind protection (a little exposed for North winds) but survived some horrible storms.
Many boats (including us dragged) so be mindful and keep an eye on your anchor.
Dinghy dock was being rebuilt, but can tie your dinghy up just after the Hall of Fame Marina on the east side to street posts. This gives you access to the main beach front. This area is for beach and restaurants.
If you wnat provisions your best bet is the Raw Bar :) they allow you to dinghy up. It's $10 BUT free if you eat/drink there. Which we recommend (especially the French toast!)
Also heading that way you will find a free pump out /water station.
The drive downtown FL is also super close by and a cool experience ON YOUR DINGHY!.
If you pass the food boat also worth a stop :)
ps: make sure you have your anchor light on and don't hang laundry off your boat! police and bylaw are active.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Anchored and dinghyed to the dock.
after walking to the beach we never would have left our locked dinghy!
Lots of people doing drugs (hard drugs) in the day light.
