Malletts Bay is Burlington’s yachting center. Note the small rock island to the north, Carleton’s Prize, named for Sir Guy Carleton, the Briton who shelled the island in a dense fog in 1776 after mistaking it for a Colonial ship of Benedict Arnold’s fleet.
