Stayed here again, this time for 2 nights in mid April and met Pat, who is also a dock master. He was great and helped us into the dock , had us preregistered,(making check in very easy) and provided information regarding the restaurants, etc in the area. Everyone is friendly and extremely friendly. Great restaurants were in easy walking distance and Uber can take you in a short trip for supplies. They have cleanest Clubhouse and baths/showers we've seen. Thank you for another Great Visit!

Marina Review for Uncle Henry's Marina

Very narrow dredged channel with sand shoals on both sides. That being said, the staff can help direct you through the multiple turns by contacting them on channel 14. The marina is quiet and clean. There is a small party store a short walk from the maina who rents golf carts but make sure to get there early, or call to reserve one, as they run out quickly. Without a cart you won't be able to get to the main business district on the island..
The reason for 4 stars and not five is the confusion with the staff. We were told on arrival that the restaurant was closed that evening. After heating up and eating some leftover pizza a gentleman, who lives on his boat in the marina, asked us to go to dinner with him at the restaurant. When we told him we just finished eating on our boat because the restaurant was closed, he said the staff was wrong and the restaurant was indeed open. Unfortunately, because of the misinformation from the staff, we missed out on an opportunity to have dinner with a very friendly fellow boater.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Great people and great food! We came in on a falling tide and being on an inlet the current was extremely strong! Yet the dock staff made me look like a lot better Captain than I thought I was. They gave me, and every other docking boat, excellent directions and assistance. The facilities are very clean and spacious. The restaurant is one of the favorites in town, as demonstrated by the line of cars waiting to get in. We got to the outside patio just in time and enjoyed some great craft beer and a fantastic seafood platter. We stopped on the way down and on the way back home. This is one place we will always plan to stay at in the future!

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back home from the Keys. Frank and his staff were great! Not only did Frank help us tie up he gave us excellent turn by turn instructions to our slip! Above and beyond the call in my opinion! We also found an excellent restaurant in the same complex as the club. I believe it was called The Wharf?? Cold beer and great lobster! The facilities are excellent, 5stars out of 5. Great people, great food and fuel to boot! What more could ask for?

On the way to the Keys we stopped for fuel and wound up staying for 5 days! Debbie and Donnie were both great! Excellent restaurants and even a farmers market, on Saturday, were all within walking distance. On the way back from the Keys we called to see if they had room for us and they said they were full. We wound up staying at the boat club . I was disappointed to see that when we passed the City dock on the to the boat club the dock was empty and when went by it the next morning at 7 it was still empty. Not sure why they told us they had no room for the one night ? Still a great place to stay!

Great marina with friendly people! The staff were there to take our lines when we fueled as well as when we came into our dock. The restaurant was waterside with great food and even better cold beer! The staff was a lot of fun and the Admiral actually got to see a Manatee. In fact a few Manatees doing their mating ritual. There is a West Marine within walking distance, a bus station at the highway, ( a short walk), and Uber will pick you up and drop you off right at the gate. Perfect! Great fuel prices as well.

Beautiful place to stay! Capt David and the rest of the crew were very friendly and helpful. The store at the marina sells sandwiches, drinks, ice cream, pizza, etc. The entrance is narrow but I witnessed large catamarans and sailboats with 4-5 foot keels passing without issue. There is a bus stop at the park entrance that goes to Marathon and Key West. We were able to resupply in Marathon at the Publix but make sure you pull the cord to stop at the park entrance on the return or the driver will not stop. Beautiful beaches as well!
