This is a narrow channel and there may be small boats moving through the channel so tying to the side is necessary. We run the bow, into the upwind bank and deploy side ties (or anchors) to keep the stern 90 degrees to the bank. There was 6+ feet of water in the channel. To access this channel, approach from the west and line up on the channel and proceed at slow bell into the channel to a desired location. Do not block the channel.
This area has a large mosquito population, so get below well before dark.
