stayed close to north end for good holding. not very windy (5-10k E wind). hawksbill was fun to explore shallows in low tide. beware of broken glass. dangerous for kids and pets. Foxtown government dock may be a challenge to climb ladder. it looks like the dock at da valley restaurant would have been a better choice. the restaurant da valley is as good as they say and quick service. we don't have pets but it doesn't look like a pet would be an issue. folks seem quite friendly.

We anchored about .3nm NW of the anchor mark in depths approx 2.5 meters in late May 2022. Getting close to town becomes rocky with spotty holding. Fairly good protection from South winds, but as this is a fairly open anchorage, expect chop as the winds increase. Forxtown has a grocery, several restaurants, fuel, and friendly residents. It's a good stop to/from Great Sale Cay for crossings. There is a nice town dinghy dock. For a few photos of the anchorage, visit https://www.facebook.com/100063618668322/posts/425101706287115/
