Merrickville. 6/9/2024 and 6/10/2024 due to weather. The wall dock has two electrical service pedestals and finger pier has five service pedestals. Road noise detracts from the quiet. The Parks Canada lock office to pay for power ($10.75 CAN/day) is located across the bridge down the stairs in the white building which also has the washrooms. The campground offers showers to boaters at a price of ($5 CAN). Easy walk into town with many eateries, coffees, and other shops. Enroute from Smiths Falls, buoy N369 appears to be missing. Recommend a good review of the chart prior arrival at the Parks Canada "lock marina" which is accessed from the canal via a separate channel. From the junction buoy to the lock marina, channel buoys are green-left and red-right.

Marrickville is a small cute town worthy of a stop and walk-around. Small, basic grocery store, ice cream shop, and several boutiques.

Stayed on the blue line above the locks for the night. No power but no problem. Showers at the campground next door are awesome. Best stop on the Rideau. Shops, food galore. And the food market in town is wonderful. They have a good selection of everything. Butter tarts are #1!
