Typically nice Parcs Canada mooring, made better now that there are three (3) power pedestals, each with two (2) 30 amp outlets, on the upper wall. Nice park setting down a no-vehicle access walking path a short way from town, so no pedestrians to look into your boat. A short walk to town with easy access to a few restaurants, Foodland, Napa Auto Store, LCBO, and Hardware store... there's even a Chocolate store nearby. A nice relaxing spot to stop, reprovision, and relax before heading out on the Trent-Severn the next day.

Lock 26 wall in Lakefield, ON is a nice place to stop. It has room for about 8 boats and has 4 power pedestals, bathrooms and showers. We had a pleasant walk into town and bought groceries. There are many stores and restaurants nearby.

Very narrow approach to the lock in both directions. Well before entering channel always good to call lock master at 1-705-652-3056 and ask them if any traffic was recently heading your way and if they are set for your direction of travel.

Excellent overnight spot, lots of tie up space, and very quiet, sheltered from all weather. A ten minute walk to groceries/liquor/restaurants/and other supplies. One of my favourite spots and there is a bicycle trail that runs all the way back to Peterborough and then Hastings if you are adventurous.
