Noteworthy:
Well-protected Round Pond Harbor is the gateway to the Penobscot Bay cruising grounds. The village grew from ship building, fishing and granite quarries. Our harbor continues to be a working one and boat building remains part of the village. Round Pond is a welcoming village, offering travelers a brief respite from their busy lives.
A short walk from Padebco's dinghy dock and visitors will find five places to dine! Visit Granite Hall, offering books, gifts, penny candy and ice cream. A few more steps and you'll find antiques sourced from Europe and the UK, an art gallery and Southeast Asian imports. Enjoy free WI-FI at Round Pond Coffee and weekly events at King Ro Market (Monday night Bluegrass), Little Brown Church (Wednesday night music) and Washington School (Tuesday and Thursday night events). It's all within a quarter mile of our dock!
Padebco is a full service boatyard offering marine services and storage for sail and power boats. Padebco is a custom boat builder of Downeast-style power boats. For more information visit www.Padebco.com
