Anchored across from the church and Fish Fry. Best dinghy docks in all of Bahamas that we've found! Metal ladders up to a new dock with a great 'lower' area where you could easily get groceries/parcels on and off the dinghy at even level. Fish on the dock; Warren's art and conversation on Fish Street; Ocean Hole; Cathedral Caves; and Boiling Hole were all high points of our stay. We stayed for 4 nights after easily grabbing anchor.

We were here to rest, water up, fuel up, and enjoy a few days before crossing to Exumas. This was the place to do it! Amazing staff who were very helpful. Laundry was clean; showers were clean; restaurant service and food were great. We did the loop walk, which was amazing - great workout with beautiful views!

WWG seems to have their review of this anchorage - Town Creek - confused with Taylor Creek, which is on the other side of the town. We didn't actually anchor here but were at the westernmost t-head at Homer Smith Marina for a week for repairs. I can see 10 boats anchored on the west side of the bridge and 3 boats anchored on the east side of the bridge. So there is definitely room for more than 3 - 4 boats. The Maritime Museum is on the other side of town, near Taylor Creek. It is busy and industrial and kind of ugly here, not somewhere I personally would want to anchor for more than overnight.

Thanks for the review and for using Waterway Guide.

We will have a representative visit this site and revise the description as needed. Regarding the Maritime Museum, the facility just north of the US70 Bridge is the museum Gallants Channel Annex.
