Docks showing age and no help from staff. We topped off fuel and price was about cheapest we've seen. Marina seems to be an after thought of the casino. Agree with other reviews to check in while getting fuel and pump out . Best thing about the place is proximity to the Cal Sag.

What a pleasant surprise. It is a well protected and deep marina. Facilities are in good shape and staff helpful. Views of skyline at night were beautiful. Can't comment on other amenities or the Milwaukee itself as we only stayed one night.

Great docks and staff. We were there waiting out weather . Weather was very ugly and we were well protected. Everything is within a couple of blocks - restaurants, auto parts store, etc. They have a farmers market on weekends at the marina . Some of the freshest meat and bread we've had in a while. Also the ferry company to Mackinaw runs a shuttle that will pick you up at the marina if you call.

Great facility and staff. It's a functioning boatyard with a great reputation. Convenient and they have a courtesy car. Fuel prices were extremely reasonable and pump out was convenient. We were weathered in a few days and Kim was extremely easy to deal with. Their dock store would put most West Marine stores to shame. We will be back.

Cons: Pretty isolated location and docks have water over them in some high tide situations as we were on fixed docks with other transients. We hope the new owners replace them soon.

Great staff , amenities and easy access to grocery store and Ace hardware. The complimentary golf cart was a plus. We'd return to eat at Spoon River in a heartbeat. One caveat. We won't return if the wind is forecast to come from the bay at night. We thought the breakwater would mitigate wave issues but it did not. We had storms night we were there and blew out a 3' taylor made fender as we were pummeled against the dock. Even had difficulty getting off the dock to leave due to wave action .

Rustic out of the way place that is perfect for a stop in the middle of nowhere to break up your trip. The owner met us as we came in and helped us with lines when we left. Power and water worked. Beautiful views of the marsh. Watch out for the outgoing tide when you come in as it will push you into the docks. Nothing glamorous but serves its function well.

Left our boat there for a week to so we could go home. The good: great facility, great staff , Publix, West Marine and restaurants a couple of blocks away and wonderful folks that dock there permanently. The bad : come in at high tide . We draw 4.5' . We had 5'9" at high tide going out. We were not so fortunate coming in and saw less than 5'. Also note some of the channel markers were missing when we were there last week. We'll come back but only at high tide.

We stayed on our way to Okeechobie. Easy to dock in front of the restaurant .The marina office is almost 1/4 mile from the marina. We hailed them as we came in and were told to go to channel 14. Went to 14 and nothing— no response to calls on either 14 or 16. Luckily some bar patrons helped us with our lines. This happened to another boat the same day. Then we had to move after all lines ,electricity and water hooked up. It was chaos as three boats were told to dock in the same space. We were blocked in but had good neighbors that left early as well so we could leave. The facility is nice, great location for transit and the restaurant next to the dock served good food. I'd stay again but won't expect any assistance or organization.

Wonderful location. Protected from wind. Facility has nice floating docks. Dock staff are great when they finally respond to the radio. Diesel over $1 more than most places but we were on fumes. Then to add insult to injury they would not give us the advertised 10% discount because we filled two tanks in two separate transactions but the total exceeded the amount purchased to get the discount. They made the decision to pump in two transactions and never mentioned discount until we asked and spoke with manager.
