Marina Review for Bay Street Marina

Seems like a secure marina, however.. the gates to each dock are never shut or locked. Many outsiders have access to the entire marina.
The Yacht next to us was robbed at 1:30 AM. Much like the post here from 2022, the individual boarded through an unlocked door while the crew was sleeping and robbed of cash and other personal items. Such similarities in the incidents. You have to wonder.
Probably won't be staying here again. Felt much more secure at Yacht Haven where the door automatically shuts behind you and not left open all day and night.
Otherwise, staff is great.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Sure wish I could give this a negative 1 star. I called to check diesel price and the "gentleman" told me to go out there and look at the sign. I told him we were on our way off the ICW and he told me " how about you don't stop!" So, there is that.

So prepare to get rocked. Burdine's and Castaways are about a 15 minute dingy ride. Free dingy dock if you patronize them. $10 fee at Burdines if you need to go to town.
