Great stop, just follow the charts in. Great holding, anchor came up with a little mud. Warm during the day and cooled off in the evening. The bugs came out in the evening so had to close up, the no seeums made it through our screens so had to totally close up. There were 3 boats there with plenty of room. Only a couple fishing boats and they were very respectful. Very peaceful, no cell service. There was one place that looked like it could be sandy to go to shore, but we didn't try it, the rest of shore was mud.

Anchored a little northeast of the symbol in 8+ feet of water at low tide. Next time I go a little farther in as we got waked at 3:30 am, enough to wake us up. Other than that a several fishing boats going out around 5 am it was a very peaceful spot. Anchor set first try an came up with about 10 pounds of mud and shells. Very little cell service. There is a sand bar not too far away, we don't have a dog, but easy access to get there.

As others have said, we felt very welcomed and they worked with us to schedule our arrival early and stay a day later due to weather. Mike the Dock Master was great along with the staff. The marina was recently rebuilt so very nice condition. Having the Publix almost onsite was a big plus.

Ditto the previous comments from Douglas. Carley was excellent along with all the other employees in helping us in, making us feel comfortable, great local knowledge and really helping us get out on a windy day.

Great stop. Came in from the south with 6 feet plus of water. Since we were the only ones here anchored mid way up the channel in 15 feet of water. Mostly peaceful once car traffic died down across the river. There was a 3 mph breeze from the south that had us sideways for a couple hours until it died down. After that the current was strong enough to keep us straight, we didn't move at all.
