We left our boat here for a couple weeks. The staff was friendly and very helpful - shout out to Kim, Joy, Rico and Caleb.The facilities were top notch and very clean. The staff cleans the spiders out of the electric boxes and spray for spiders regularly. We needed some work done and Matt and Fred were all over it. Finally, the people who use this as their "home port" are as friendly and helpful as you could want. One of the best marinas we have stayed at!

Anchorage Review for Clay Bay

Hard to review. There is a lot of shoaling. You need to stay as far south as you can when entering despite the markers. We were way off the markers but still grounded on unmarked shoaling. Spent the night until we could get pulled off the next morning (It was almost nighfall when we grounded). Plus was that we didn't need to set an anchor alarm!

Great marina! We called on Christmas Eve to get last minute reservations because the next day was going to be bad weather. They got us a slip and made sure someone was there to help us tie up. The store and restaurant were closed due to the holiday but the showers were hot! I highly recommend!

Stayed there over the 4th of July (at the liveaboard slips). They provided us an escort boat to find our slip. Great location for visiting DC. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more friendly! I'd stay there again!
