Bridge comment on Southern Boulevard (SR 700/80) Bridge

CAUTION!!! This bridge is currently a lift bridge. It is NOT 65 feet! It is only 64 ft. Maximum at dead low tide! I just waited 3 hours at anchor northbound to clear by inches with 63.5 ft. mast. If rain has been heavy you could have less than that. If you need more you will need to go outside from Ft. Lauderdale unless you want to risk Boca or Hillsborough inlet to Lake Worth (Palm Beach) inlet. It was a very unpleasant and stressful surprise.
