Prevailing wind from the south most of the summer. More than a few sailboats on the hook year round. Easy access to docks at boat ramp, lots of traffic during summer and holidays from the boat ramp as one would expect...lots of wakes from jetskiers, etc.

Anchored here many times and usually very nice. Depth is 16-18' on north side by gas station/store but VERY shallow on south side. Area by Moody Gardens is deep and good holding but can have lots of ski boats making annoying noise and wakes.
