Weak Verizon cell signal.
Wakes from boats on the GIWW will make it into this anchorage if anchored near the mouth of the oxbow.

Only put out about forty foot of chain. Held just fine. Depth was about 7-10 feet within 15 foot of shore. Verizon signal was weak with only 1 bar.

Sailboat already anchored in west arm of oxbow. We dropped anchor in east arm in 7 ft and backed up with 11-12 ft at stern. Anchor held well with about 40 ft chain and came up clean with some vegetation.
