As per the other reviewer, the anchor bit quickly with a 8:1 rode because of the weather. It was windy and stormy. We swung around, but the anchor held. The next morning, the anchor came up easily with loose mud. Nice area to anchor if it were better weather.

We dropped anchor about 150 yards beyond the icon in 9 feet of water to be better protected from a southeast wind. This was a Monday night. A couple of jet skis zipped by and a fishing boat puttered through but all was quiet before sunset. We did not try to go ashore which looks to all be private property. The anchor bit quickly and we sat still all night with 7:1 rode. It came up with loose mud easily washed off with raw water the next morning. This is a very nice area to anchor.
