Around the bend but before the shoal mitigates chop from the SE. in mid channel more than 250 yds from homes docks so GA legal. We found 7-9' with a -1' tide. Only a few center consoles. Typical strong reversing currents found throughout the Lowcountry.

Decent current runs through but holding in 10' at low tide was good. Almost no traffic through here on the Thursday night we anchored here. Plan on an 8' tide. Plenty of swing room for several boats but only 2 came to enjoy this scenic anchorage. Anchored near the mouth of Breakfast Creek on the south side of the bay.

Very peaceful among some homes and trees which give protection from winds from the east.
