Head towards LDB between Red 66 and 68 at mile marker 88.1 and enter the side channel on the east side of the river. Heading back up the channel, select the appropriate depth to drop anchor taking the 4 foot tide and 2mph reversing current present at this anchorage. Even though reported holding is very good in mud, sufficient scope should be a major consideration. Protection from winds with any easterly component all the way around to the south should be very good with complimentary wave protection. The anchorage is well off the channel and has shallows in front of it so the wake protection should also be pretty good. Cell phone reception at the anchorage is very good.
