Now there are 3 sailboats, and 2 power boats. There is a gale warning for tonight and tomorrow with winds out of the North. So we'll see how everyone fairs. But, I'd say this is a good, reliable spot from my preliminary observations. Halfway between Norfolk and Coinjock... not a bad place! The only negative is that in the morning the wake from ICW traffic will be noteworthy. Most vessels will slow down, but still, wake is wake! We have decided to stay for another night here as there is a gale in effect so winds from the north will make this river bumpy when it widens west and south of Knotts Island. (Plus Coinjock is overbooked for tonight!)
