Again, we were the only one in the anchorage. Good protection from Southeast to Northeast winds. Their was some chop with 20knot east winds and no protection from northerlies. We anchored a bit closer in and found 4.5-5.5 during low tide. We were able to use an open WiFi signal using an extender. Cell service was excellent. We explored a bit more and you can land a dinghy at the end of 61st street. There are also some abandoned docks in the back of the bay as well as the bay just to the West, along with another dead end street where a kayak or dinghy could be tied up. This is close to Publix and restaurants. There are also several marinas to the west that have restaurants with tie up facilities. Water here was super clear and beautiful place to swim.

Anchor in 5-7 feet of water based on your draft. We spent 4 nights here with winds 15-20 from North and then switching to East/SE. Good protection from E and S winds. There are several marinas to your west with restaurants. 61st Street appears to have a boat ramp where dinghys can be left. We kayaked around the mangroves and headed east to pretty Joe rock. Nice area with good wildlife. Curry Hammock State Park is just a few hundred yards away.
