Very settled weather so anchored in 10 foot water. Used the Bruce anchor because Delta was dragging, like most of the Potomac it seems to be a mix of mud, sand, and pebbles/shells. Bruce held no problem. First time doing 360's around the anchor during tidal changes, but a calm and fair night. I imagine this area would get rough during strong winds and is unprotected. Large space, was fun to practice prop walk and maneuvering among crab pots. Pots were on the way in and outer edges, but respectful of marked anchorage area. Would definitely return in fair weather. Cell Service was good and shore access via beach and/or Tim's restaurant.

The farther N you go, the more crab pots & stickier mud. On summer weekends & holidays, be prepared for some serious waking as the boats anchored at Tim's head N, then it's quiet all night
