Enter with greater than 20' of water winter pool and find gently shoaling depths almost all the way to the back of the entrance. Move either into the middle of either the north or south arm and find the desired depth to anchor. We anchored in the south arm near the swimming area and boat launch with plenty of swing room and 10' of water. Excellent holding, wake, wave and wind protection with the exception of winds coming from the West. We would anchor in the north arm of the anchorage with a west wind. Good Cell reception for all three carriers, shore access at the boat launch and a park/swimming area for personal and pet exercise. No shopping opportunities. This might be an active place during a good summer weekend but it was quiet at the beginning of October.
