It took several tries to get the anchor to set in 7-8 ft. Easy dingy ride to the beach to access Glass Window bridge and Queens Bath.

A great anchorage in calm weather and easterly winds. Sandy bottom holds very well. The clear water made it easy to verify the anchor set well.

We landed the dinghy at the beach across the road from the Queens Bath, then made the easy walk to it. Then we walked to the Glass Window. Be careful walking along the road. On the way the Bull and the Cow were interesting. Unable to locate the natural gyser, we continued to El Karaka for a bit of refreshment (cash only). The food looked good, but we only had a drink. Great setting and view.

A must stop anchorage. Obviously, Glass Window, Cow & Bull, and the Queens Baths are all must see attractions while here. The anchorage is full of nothing but deep sand. Drop your anchor wherever you like - just watch for the few pipes that have been somehow dropped around. You can easily spot them. The beaches are beautiful and lots of sandy areas to land the dinghy, so don't pick a rocky area. There's a restaurant/bar just past Glass Window Bridge and Daddy Joes just a bit east near Gaulding Cay. Daddy Joes just remodeled and looks lovely inside and out, but was closed when we stopped by. This is a great area to walk around and explore with breathtaking g views and crystal clear water. Cell/MIFI reception was excellent with ALiV and BTC/TMobile. This is a great stop before or after current cut going to/from Spanish Wells area. Check out photos of the anchorage at https://www.facebook.com/100063618668322/posts/pfbid02J4jj5Ak54kbnieDma16KzUDvZNxULAWx9CUrBK36aqupsJXajutzwitRxZMfoHa1l/ and check posts for several days after for photos from the area.

The window was spectacular to view! There is a little beach where you can park your dingy and explore the window on foot. We had the opportunity to anchor and explore on a day where there was little wind. Good depth as you head south there are coral heads.
