The water is crystal clear but it is best approached during a rising tide since the water can get "skinny" on the way in. Bond's Cay is a private island but my wife and I had no trouble dinghying over and walking the pristine sandy beaches. There was plenty of room for multiple boats. There are patches of grassy bottoms which make it hard for the anchor to catch a hold so find a more sandy spot to drop your anchor. We had a calm night and the anchor was more of a formality. The area is beautiful to sit and listen to the quietness. Stop here to get away from it all!

There is slightly more water than charted with 7-8 feet in most of the area.
Getting a dinghy to shore can be a bit of a challenge as the beach is pretty rocky at the shoreline.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
