What a beautiful anchorage. Although charts don't show it, stay further east to avoid small plane traffic. There is a small runway. We had to move once we saw planes too close.

I actually stayed east of Gun Cay (about 3 nm north of Cat Cay Yacht Club), to sleep for a few hours before crossing the Grand Banks. Even though the wind was from the SE at about 5-10 kts, there was only a very light chop through the afternoon and evening! This held true almost all the way East across the Banks (from about midnight to early morning). Good holding, practically no traffic/wakes, very quiet. If the wind is from the West, wind protection may be fair, but really exposed anywhere else.
