Pumpout is available, see dock staff for assistance. We booked 4 nights but stayed 1 extra day once our guests left. Convenience store next to Holiday Inn, has more than you think if you cannot get to a grocery store. Ice cream and bagels just a few block away near the History Museum. Restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Great view of Ottawa.

We were on Dock B. Newer floating dock. Restroom and showers a bit dated and average clean. WiFi is not usable from our spot on B dock. Ice cream spot and bagel place in easy walking distance. Ottawa will require a bike or taxi. Less than a mile to Locks 1-8

24 Jun 2023 – 3 Jul 2023. We moved up to the blue line at about noon. We were locked down through the flight of eight fairly quickly and then a short 1 mile ride to Hull Marina. Originally we had a 5-day stay planned, but were able to get a 7-day stay once we got to the marina. We put in a request to stay an additional two days and kept checking with them everyday. Two days before our departure the commodore knocked on our boat and she advised us that they had worked out another 2 days for us. This Marina is well run. There are restrooms, showers, and a laundry there. It is a short walk across the provincial bridge to be able to visit downtown Ottawa. We did that a number of times during our stay. Uber will take you from Ottawa to Gatineau where the marina is however they may not be able to pick you up in Gatineau. Also there is a convenience store next to the Best Western which is a short 5 to 8 minute walk. You can get beer at this convenience store that is cheaper than buying it in Ottawa. Got to know is also a very nice city to visit and we had dinner there at Pizza za, which we highly recommend. The people at the Hull Marina and The Yacht Club we're very friendly and we ended up getting a ride to a Walmart to re-provision as well as a ride to get a haircut in Ottawa. Good location with view of Parliament Buildings across the river. One block away from Museum of Canadian History. Otherwise no nearby transportation or restaurants. Constant wake despite no wake zone. Long walk to bathrooms. No fuel or pumpout. Updated floating docks, but narrow finger docks that rock easily with the wakes. Good wi-fi. Single, free washer/dryer. Mostly seasonal boaters.
