This is such a nice place to have a boat. The people are great. We loved getting to know everyone. Adam, Christian, Paul, Pete and Mary all went out of their way to be helpful. We would love to stay here again when we sail back their way!

We came here for emergency repairs to rudder and keel after hitting rocks. Knowing that we are trying to head south before winter, they have been working hard. The estimate was 2-3 weeks, and it will be just 3 weeks! Derek is a master at fiberglass repairs, very thoughtful , lot's of experience, and prepared to discuss options. The yard has been super accommodating while we've been trying to live 12 feet up on stands. All the folks are friendly , straight forward, and knowledgeable.
We arrived at the beginning of October, and the marina is winding down for the winter, so the facilities are a bit rough.

The folks at Burr's Marina are straightforward, trustworthy, and good at what they do. The fixed docks aren't luxurious, but they've been doing upgrades on the laundry and shower facilities, which are up a stairway (on a bit of a cliff). The Fishers Island ferries create some roll, so it can be nice to get a mooring behind the small rocky island for a little protection.
