A very pleasant stop in a town that continues to improve. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. New, very clean floating docks. Great help with docking and proactive with arrival, and they helped us with untying in the morning. Facilities are quite a long way from the docks. A great tour of the town by golf cart. We really wanted to give this 5 stars because of the superhelpful dockmaster and dockhand but the security gate has not been repaired since the freeze in January and the pump out is not working. Great views and sunsets over the river and waterfront. Highly recommended detour off the ICW.

We had a great stay at St. Marys Intracoastal Gateway Marina (7 nights). As mentioned, the staff are helpful and friendly. The two electrical pedestals farthest from the dock head of the dock are the ones having issues with 50 Amp power. The rest of the pedestals worked fine. Floating docks that are fairly new and are quite wide. Several very good restaurants in town.

Easy in and out - Cumberland sound can be chopping in windy weather. Docking on the N-S portion of the dock can be a bit of a challenge when the wind and tide are working together. Dock hands are knowledgeable and assisted in landing. Local Yacht Club members and marina staff can provide short distance transportation for resupply trips. Cabs and Ride share options are very limited - so longer trips are a bit more challenging

St Marys Intercoastal Marina was excellent. Collin and Bob were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived they took us on a golf cart ride around St Marys (which is a lovely town) and pointed out the things to see and places to eat. Our only complaint is the power pedastels are having a GFCI issue that causes them to trip easily.

This was such a great stop. Collin, Bob and Tristan are so helpful. Upon arrival Bob and Collin were at the dock waiting for us. The winds were at 18kts right before slack. We were thankful for the extra help. Bob immediately took us on a quick free tour of the downtown area and added in some local history. The restaurants were great and a happy hour at one of them with $1.75 beers. The marina office is a house with facilities, showers, laundry, bikes and all at no cost. The local yacht club members will run you to Walmart for provisions if needed as a courtesy, but a tip is customary. Also, the marina will send out messages daily letting you know what activities are happening in town. We will be back to this marina.

The wife and I were planning on staying two nights but with some weather rolling in we ended up staying for a week.

Colin, Bob and Tristan are the absolute best, they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great stay.

The local yacht club also gave me a ride to the Publix so we could get stocked up on groceries.

This is a place we will go out of our way to stay again.

Awesome staff. Well organized, well built marina. Walking distance to cute little town with a lot of history. Worth the visit! We stayed for one night, but wished we have time to stay longer.
Guys at the marina were super friendly and helpful. Provided all information, offered help, free bikes, tour of the town.
    Unmatched hospitality!!!
    Thank you!

The dock master took my wife and I for a tour of the town on the city golf cart. This is a place I will return for another visit, it is charming. Good restaurants near by and the docks are in excellent conditions. Five plus stars!

The BEST marina we have ever been to!! Great new floating docks, pumpout at your boat. Easy in and out with deep water. The town of St. Marys looks like a Disney movie set. We expected a Hallmark Christmas movie to be filming at any time lol. Great owner who is making this place great.

Hidden gem! Quiet and serene. Deep water. No bridges. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at St. Mary's Intracoastal Gateway Marina. It's a small city-run marina with brand new floating concrete dock, well lighted, with security gate. They have loaner bikes that look new and are garage kept (not the usual rust buckets with torn seats). You can rent a golf cart on premises. Since we always use our on-board facilities, didn't check the baths, but heard they're nice. Free washers/dryers! They also have a comfy captains lounge. Unfortunately, the weather was off/on rain for days so we didn't take advantage of the nice bikes. Very pet friendly with over 2 acres of mowed lawn and disposal bags adjacent to the bulkhead, so only a short walk.

Bob and Collin went above and beyond to get us docked, set up and feel welcome. I even got a text message saying "Hey, i have a golf cart available today if you want to borrow it." In fact, we used it twice at no charge! They were always checking in to be sure our power was on and everything was OK as they'd had some lightening strike damage. We had no issues with our 50amp pedestal.

We took the cart into the city for dinner on a Monday and The Firefly, a taco restaurant was open. Food was way better than i expected. Very creative and you could order mix/match tacos to try out the different options. Full menu and bar. Drinks were excellent, too. It exceeded expectations, for sure, and our waitress was wonderful. Even though it was mid 80's, we were comfortable on the large covered patio with it's overhead fans. I think this restaurant is fairly new, as it looks it.

St. Mary's is a lovely historic town and worth a visit. The marina is small, pretty much a long double-sided T-head, but there were only two of us tied up there during our stay. Be sure to make reservations as space is limited. In the past we've stayed at Oasis Marina when in Fernandina, area but decided to venture out and try St. Mary's. You won't be disappointed. TOP NOTCH service and facility. Highly recommend. OH, and the slip fee INCLUDED the power and a free pump-out. You can't ask for more, folks.

We loved visiting this marina and town. The staff are super - great communication with us on the day of arrival, very helpful with catching lines, providing info on things to do/eat, a tour of the town on their golf cart, and more. Great location for dogs too. The location is amazing (no factories next door). We missed out on the great bread we heard about, but the Farm to Market store in town has great items (including several varieties of bread). At the dock we couldn't pull the full amount of power we usually do or it would trip the pedestal breaker, but the dock is brand new and they are working on getting it right. We had enough for some air conditioning, so it wasn't a big problem. They have bikes to use for free, laundry, and lounge. We wish the golf carts were free like they are at Jekyll Island marina, but it is very convenient to be able to rent them at the marina. Thanks Colin and Bob for being great marina hosts! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Great service by dock master Collin and dock hand David. Collin contacted us through Nebo. The marina has brand new floating docks and David took us on a tour of historic St. Marys in his golf cart. We received a discount for being Boat US and AGLCA members. There is a submarine museum and several eating establishments within walking distance. They also have bikes that they will loan you. It was very quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Colin the Dockmaster sent a Nebo Alert. Lucky for us he did. We had planned on staying at Fernandina Marina but it was full due to Shrimp Festival. St. Mary's has brand new floating concrete docks. Power, water and pump out all included plus a 10% discount to AGLCA, MTOA and Boat US members. Colin was very accommodating. The town is quite cute. We missed the Sub Museum. But ate at Locals Restaurant and it was very good.
The reason for 4 stars is we were on the outside dock and it was pretty Rocky rolly until the evening when boat traffic died down.

This is a great and welcoming marina as other reviews have pointed out.
St. Mary's goes all out to welcome you and the town is clean and a great walk
I would bypass Fernandina again to stop here.
The only possible negative is that the docks are somewhat exposed to a southeast wind

Very personable staff that provides specific attention to your needs. Upon arriving we were shown a couple of slips that best suited our specific needs from which we were free to select. Knowledgeable hands tied us off and shortly later took us on a tour of their town in a golf cart which provided us not only the history of St Mary's but also the location of the local eateries, shops, and other places of interest that we could visit.
The floating docks are of new concrete construction with huge spud poles that provide a secure place to tie. At times there are tidal currents to consider but nothing that are not manageable especially considering the experience of the dock hands. Dockage rates include clean power, potable water, and dockside pump outs. Water depth is not an issue.
Free laundry facilities, and a clean comfortable boaters lounge with bathing facilities are located nearby. Bicycles are available for your use.

What a find! A beautiful new facility in a wonderful historic community. From the moment we landed until we left we were more than taken care of. The staff here are first rate. Upon our arrival we got a golf cart tour of St Marys. A few days later a ride to the grocery store. Free laundry and bikes. A very short walk to town for dinner. Left with homemade banana bread and strawberry jam. No question, we will be back!

Great service. Strong current at dock. David was very helpful in helping us get in safely. Will consider arriving at slack tide next time. St Marys is a nice friendly town. New docks. Pump out available at your dock. Arrival in the river was fine. Gave Reds 60+ feet to avoid shoaling. Arrived at mid to high tide. Never saw less than 18 feet in the river.
