It's hard for me to dislike ANY marina that has the most important feature for a boat like mine: 10' deep water through the entire approach up to the dock. And they had it.

In the dark, if you're not familiar with the approach it can be kind of hard to see. The actual entrance to the marina basin is off of a canal off of the river. If there happens to be a gigantic motor yacht docked there, the whole marina can vanish in the dark. So yeah, great protection from wind and waves. but hard to spot in the dark.

The floating docks were GREAT and had a feature I've never seen anyplace else: dockside trash pickup. You just drop your trash in the bin at the end of the finger dock, and they'll take care of it.

Now, the water in Fort Lauderdale tastes like sulfur, so they provide a water jug filling kiosk with free filtered water. But not for filling your tanks. For that, you just get City water. And it's full of sulfur. Power is available and unmetered. Easy access to the rest of the city, but bring a bike or be prepared to uber. Anyplace else is a significant walk. Mind you, with the classy restaurants available on site, you don't HAVE to go anywhere unless you need to provision your boat. Friendly, helpful staff. Will receive packages for you, no problem.

Cons: No showers. No Laundry. "Nearby" laundromat is sketchy and coin-operated. And they charge a MINT. For that kind of money, you'd think laundry and showers would be available.

But they had enough water for my boat.

P66 Marina harbor location and local access is great, Marina Manager Megan and her staff are a great amazing team.
The marina docks were brand new a few years ago and now the original P66 hotel tower is under going re-construction.
