Palacios, TX
Palacios (pronounced "Pa-lash-us") is a small, quiet location at the far northeast corner of Matagorda Bay that makes a pleasant stop for a couple of days. It offers haul-out facilities, a friendly sailing club and well-protected, easily entered marinas. Nothing about these marinas or the community are "resort like" in any way but it is an interesting place to stop and visit.
