Noteworthy: | 22 Jun 2023. Going from Kingston to Ottawa we made it all the way to the wall prior to the flight of 8 locks. We arrived on a Thursday evening and there was plenty of spots that had 30 amp power. We stayed there two nights and were able to find restrooms nearby that we could walk to. We were not bothered by the foot traffic that goes right by you. Everyone seem to be respectable and we had a nice stay for two nights. When the bars let out at 2:00 in the morning on our second night there someone decided to remove our power plug. It did wake us up because our air conditioner went off. I went outside and the crowd was already gone. I plugged us back in and also check the boats in front and back of us to see if they had been tampered with. All in all it is a great place to spend a couple days. We did walk up to the lock master house and took them some thank you bags. Sam & Rev on Here's To Us!!, 50' Carver at WhatYachtToDo.com |
