Noteworthy:

Heading north, just before bridge 12 (Pont 12) there is a floating dock on the west side large enough for 6 boats. A dock on the east side can fit 3 boats. Note that a Mooring Pass from Parks Canada is necessary in order to stay at either dock. From here you can hail the lock 9 Lock Master on channel 68. The lock coordinates the opening of bridge 12 and the rail road swing bridge with lock 9. Even if you arrive planning to spend the night and lock through the next day, it is important to hail and get your boat's name on there list as they will lock you through in order of names on the list. There are many good restaurants and bars nearby as well as bakeries and ATM. Walking and biking paths next to the docks. No power or water but still a very pleasant place to stop.
