Angelfish Creek Inlet
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 20.175' / W 080° 15.698'
- Description:
Tried to go to Angelfish Elbow or Middle Creek, but touched bottom on the way with our 5 ft draft sailboat. Came back toward the inlet and pulled off the channel in a wide space. Anchored in 8-10 ft of water an hour after high tide. Only a 2 ft tide here so we should be fine. Mangroves on one side, large homes and mangroves on the other. Lots of power boats zooming by but very little wake. Room for a couple of large boats.
DISCLAIMER: The laws and regulations governing anchoring in Florida waters are complex and everchanging. If you plan to anchor, whether overnight or for an extended period, you should confirm whether you are in compliance with local and state requirements before committing to a location. Two sources of information that may be helpful are the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida State Statutes.
