• Description:

  This is a sandy shore anchorage in 9 feet of water. It has excellent holding in sand and the current speed is 1.2 mph. It is located well off the channel inside of the green buoys. The GPS position is about 300 feet inside the green buoys and about 100 feet to shore. The depth drops to 6 feet about 50 feet from the shoreline. Tows tend to go slow here due to the bend in the river. It is best to leave before noon to avoid the cruiser wakes.
