Farmer's Cay North

  The north anchorage lies north of the Farmers Cay Yacht Club on the edge of the hard bar that forms the east side of the channel entering the harbour. There is a very strong current in the area which is exacerbated by the wakes from a stream of high-speed tour boats that bring customers in from other islands all day long. The holding is tenuous because much of the bar is too hard for and anchor to set so care must be taken to find enough sand to bury the anchor.
