• Description:

  If the anchorages over at Normans Cay are too crowded, a viable alternative is to anchor in front of the resort on Wax Cay. There is good protection from the east through south and by virtue of the shallow water to the NW, there is acceptable protection in lighter winds from other directions as well. The downside of this anchorage is that the Cay is private and going ashore when it is in operation is frowned upon.
