• Description:

  The Whale Cay Southeast anchorage is best considered a day anchorage because it can be rolly in all but the most settled conditions due to its exposure to the east and south. There is however good protection from the north, which provides a fallback for vessels in the Loggerhead Channel that find conditions too rough to continue their transit of The Whale. There is very good holding in deep sand.
