Darlin’ Lea anchored here 8/25-26/23 just South of the S S City of Milwaukee and North of the boat ramp. This is a good anchorage in North, West and South wind, 20 feet with good holding. Our 22kg Vulcan hooked right up and held through some 20 it winds. Be advised there is a LOT of fishing traffic. They will go by until 10 pm and they start again at 4 am and they DO NOT care about their wake. Some do not turn on running lights. I Got up at 4 am both mornings to post a watch with a horn and spot light in case a boat came too close. I did have to warn a pontoon boat that came within ~50 feet.
