- Description:
Good holding in mud/sand, with two-sided protection. Hok-Si-La is a very nice municipal park with beach, trails, campground and summer programs. The beach gets busy on weekends/holidays but just move closer to Central Point if the activity bothers you. The area is a popular fishing spot, but boats are typically at trolling speeds and respectful of anchored vessels.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
