- Description:
The anchorage is an open roadstead that is always subjected to swells. There is protection for winds from the east, but unless it is flat calm, the anchorage will be a lively place to spend the night. This anchorage will be of interest to vessels waiting for the appropriate tide to enter the marinas or for those vessels looking to make a quick getaway in the morning and do not wish to deal with the currents in North Bimini.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
