  • Location: Sebago Lake
  • Lat / Lon: N 43° 47.687' / W 070° 32.660'
  • Depth: 10 feet
  • Description:

Great cove with usable/accessible beach, good holding in sand, and excellent protection from all sides. Must be a member of the Sebago Boating Club to use this beach/anchorage. Three-point anchoring only: drop forward anchor and set it while backing down toward beach between other boats (if present) until nearing the limit of your draft; add aft anchors at the beach and tension lines at forward anchor, (Mediterranean-mooring style, except using anchors). This beach is owned by the Town of Standish and boating access to the beach is governed by the Sebago Boating Club. If you are not a member, you will be approached and asked to pay season dues to the club or asked to leave (enforced by local law enforcement). More information: https://www.sebagoboatingclub.com

DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
