• Description:

  Turn west off the ICW at flashing red 48 marking the entrance to Bull Creek. Give this marker a very wide berth.) This has better holding and more swing room than other anchorages on the Waccamaw River. Anchor in at least 15 feet MLW with a mud bottom. Go up past the first bend to avoid the wake of ICW traffic and anchor where depths suit. Hunters frequent this area in season, so prepare to awaken early to the sound of shooting.
