Lucy Cove

• Description:

  A half mile beyond Zippy Cove is Lucy Cove, a much smaller anchorage with enough space at the back of the cove to comfortably hold one or two boats in 20 feet of water (414 pool) with good holding. If Zippy Branch is crowded this is a great alternative. Although the anchorage looks exposed there is good protection from wake, wave, wind, and current with the exception of strong winds from the north. Shore access is in campground on western edge of the anchorage. Cell phone reception: 4 Bars ATT, 2 Verizon, and 1 T-Mobile.
