- Description: The anchorage in the lagoon on the west side of Cayo Ingles is one of the most protected in the entire Los Jardines de la Reina Archipelago. There are two approaches to the anchorage, both of which are shallow and tricky to negotiate. But the bold will be rewarded with an all-weather anchorage that is comfortable in even gale-like conditions. See Waterway Guide Cuba for details on navigation and approaches.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
