Cayo Buenavista
- Location: Cuba
- Lat / Lon: N 22° 23.499' / W 084° 25.605'
- Depth: 3-6 meters
- Description: The SW side of Cayo Buenavista is an easily accessible anchorage that offers good holding and protection from the prevailing E-SE winds. Approach the Cayo from the south and anchor as close to the sandy beach as your draft allows. The bottom is sand and the holding is very good. Do not be surprised if some of the local fishermen from the nearby town of Los Arroyos stop by to sell or trade for lobster. See Waterway Guide Cuba for details on navigation and approaches.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
