Georgina Island
- Location: St. Lawrence River
- Lat / Lon: N 44° 21.591' / W 075° 58.955'
- Description: The steep riverbanks and the group of Georgina, Constance, Wallace, Ash and many other smaller islands offer superb gunkholing opportunities. Navigation through the narrow channels bordered by high granite and wooded hills is a challenge, but privately maintained aids mark the hazards. There is an anchorage area between Georgina Islands and Constance Island and also on the northeast tip of Hill Island at Batterman's Point (not charted, but look for the Parks Canada sign).
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
