Coming from the inlet, as you pass the lighthouse, bear south toward the town of Barnegat Light. Aids to navigation in this area are privately maintained and frequently moved due to shifting shoals, but the channel leading to Barnegat Harbor is generally well marked. Be sure to anchor well away from the channel because of large commercial fishing boats berthed at the end of the harbor. Cell signal available.
