• Description:

  The Coast Guard does not permit anchoring in Clam Creek Basin; however, there is a substantial anchorage area south of the highway bridge. Take care to honor GR "ACC" at the mouth to Clam Creek Basin and G "6s" as there is a shoal to the west of the line joining them. Expect challenging currents and a 5-foot tidal range in calculating appropriate scope. From there,it will be a dinghy ride of about a half a mile to the basin, where a dinghy landing is available at the city marina in Gardner Basin.
